What is this?
2010 marks our 4th Annual UniverSanity Worldview Conference here in Ft. Collins.  This year Dr. Doug Groothuis will be addressing the issue of “truth decay” in our culture and how we as Christians might intelligibly respond with grace and truth.  Dr. Groothuis will deliver three talks:

1. The Crisis of Truth in the Postmodern World.  We will explore how the postmodern world undermines an objective and knowable concept of truth and seek to understand what Christians can do to challenge this view.
2. A Short Course in Defending Christianity.  We will look at the need for apologetics and how we can build a rational and compelling case for the Christian worldview.
3. The Lordship of Christ in Culture.  We will outline a theology of culture that encourages Christians to critique, challenge, and engage culture for the glory of God and good of humans.

Workshop Topics Include:
● Worldviews and The Difference They Make
● Homosexuality
● Understanding and Responding to Islam
● Issues in Bioethics
● The Journey of C.S. Lewis
● Biblical Hermeneutics

Presented by Dayspring Center for Christians Studies.  Sponsored by CSU Christian Faculty Network, Colorado Christian University, Timberline Church First Baptist Church, Faith Church, Summitview Community Church, Wes Tucker – Muslim Friendship Team, nine70 Young Adult Ministry, Rams for Christ, Real Faith, The Realm, The Rock, The Net.

My name is Larry Ashton and I will be attending the conference on both Friday and Sunday. I am coming from Denver and have attended Timberline when I’m in Fort Collins which is pretty often. I am good friends with Emil Ewing who regularly attends and helps at Timberline. Emil will be at the conference on Saturday and does not know about Friday night.

I don’t want to join Facebook so I am letting you know that I am attending this way.
